Did we mention the FT 86 is planned for sale in the near future? Of course, the Subaru version should get the automaker’s All Wheel Drive (AWD) system in place of Toyota’s rear-drive setup. Oh, it’ll probably have a hood scoop, too.
At this point, Subaru has yet to release their own take on the FT 86 concept, though some sources say it could be shown at the Tokyo Motor Show later this year. Sources also indicate that when this model hits the North American market, it might be followed by a hybrid version offering better gas mileage-- but less of all that lightweight stuff mentioned above.
