The North American International Auto Show in Detroit marked the debut of the first two Land Rover models available with a diesel engine on our shores. The 2016 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will both go on sale this fall.
The new Td6 diesel engine produces 254 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque, while offering 20%-30% better fuel economy than its gasoline counterpart. European customers have enjoyed its efficient performance for years, and now we'll be able to do the same here in North America.
Prices will be announced at a later date.
