If it’s to have a future, the Audi R8 will be reconfigured into an electrically powered hypercar. As of now the model is slated to disappear in 2022. If audi decides instead to produce a third generation, it could take strong inspiration from the PB 18 e-tron concept recently presented at Pebble Beach.
