Gagnon, who has only been employed by Visionary since March of this year, said that Bricklin also reneged on a "financially based" promise made to him prior to joining the company. While Gagnon failed to give any more information on any specific numbers or terms, neither did Bricklin, stating only that Gagnon "didn't agree on severance."

Visionary Vehicles, which has yet to sign up a dealer network, will need a top executive team with strong credentials if it plans to establish any credibility in North America. No doubt, Bricklin is quite aware of this, and for the time being relying on his own history of building automotive brands, such as Subaru, which he introduced to North America, as well as Yugo and his own, ill-fated Bricklin gull-winged sport car.
