Tokyo — Bentley Motors and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presents a specially built Rolls-Royce Park Ward saloon at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show and one of only 40 that will be made before the Rolls-Royce marque leaves its home at Crewe, England at the end of 2002. Available exclusively through the Personal Commissioning Team at the famous Crewe factory, these cars are already destined to become collector pieces.

Highlighting the English firm's peerless talents and skills in the art of coach building and its expertise in meeting individual customer requirements this Rolls-Royce Park Ward is entirely unique.

"No other manufacturer can offer comparable levels of exclusivity or craftsmanship," said Tony Gott, chief executive of Bentley Motors and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. "Each customer for the Rolls-Royce Park Ward will be acquiring nothing less than an automotive work of art, available only in limited numbers — no more than 40 will be made — and each individually prepared to its customer's own, specific, requirements."

Based on the Silver Seraph, with a 250 mm/10 inch extended wheelbase, the Rolls-Royce Park Ward is a distinctive car in its own right. Designed in keeping with the traditions of coachbuilding at Crewe the Park Ward's distinctive and harmonious silhouette is achieved by the extension of the body being wrought not by the crude insertion of extra panels between the front and rear doors, but by the crafting of entirely new bodywork and doors.
