Brazilian Bruno Senna stepped in at Lotus Renault GP to replace veteran Nick Heidfeld at the Grand Prix of Belgium at Spa last weekend.
Senna qualified well despite the rain and the treacherous conditions. He made it to Q3, and took the start of the race in seventh place.
Unfortunately, he made a mistake at the first corner, where he braked slightly too late and slid into Jaime Alguersuari's Toro Rosso. He later received a drive-through penalty, and crossed the line in 13th position.
Twenty-five years ago his legendary uncle Ayrton was also behind the wheel of a black-and-gold Lotus Renault at Spa.
