Christian Wolff and his investment company Marchsixteen have invested in the Williams Formula 1 team.
Frank Williams and Patrick Head announced today that they have sold a minority interest in Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited (Williams F1) to an Austrian investment company, Marchsixteen, led by Austrian investor Christian Wolff.
Mr Wolff also joins the company’s Board.
Wolff’s name is not very well known in motorsport but he is a part-time racer – having competed in recent years in the FIA GT championship and the Austrian Rally Championship, and also a driver manager, having managed the career of Canadian driver Bruno Spengler at one point.
Wolff is also one of the board members of HWA AG.
