Memo Rojas and Scott Pruett managed to get pass the No. 99 Gainsco car to win a third race in as many occasions so far this season in the Grand-Am Rolex Series.

"I can’t believe we won the first three races. That’s unbelievable," Rojas said after the race. "It was tough one. The No. 99 was really really strong and I thought it was going to be hard to beat them. Unfortunately for them, they had issues towards the end.

"We just did what we had planned on. Did what we can to save tire life and stay out of trouble. We managed to do half of that because we did have some scratch on the car afterwards.

"It was pretty wild and you know how Barber is, how hard to is to pass and get around people all within a clean side. But I'm really happy for my team," he added.

Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney finished 0.339 seconds behind the winners, followed by Ryan Dalziel and Mike Forest, trailing them by a full second.

In GT, Canadian driver Paul Dalla Lana and co-driver Bill Auberlen took the win from Gunter Schaldach and Oliver Gavin for a second victory this season after their win in Miami last month.

"It was exciting from where I was sitting in the first end of my stint," said Auberlen. "Paul did a great job getting the car to the front, then I got in and I played 'follow the leader' for an entire stint.

"Is was wondering: 'How am I going to get over Gavin?' And then I figured it out: the pits stops. Our guys were going to outspeed them in the pits. And we came out ahead It was perfect.

"This is the result of the work done in the shop, during the off-season. That’s why the car is so good. I'm so glad for everyone," he concluded.

Gavin and Schaldach took the second place finish with Jonathan Bomarito and Sylvain Tremblay completing this third podium of the 2011 season.

The next race is schedule for May 13-15 at Virginia International Raceway.
