Pirelli
The Italian manufacturer Pirelli offers a fine range of winter tires for trucks, but it’s mainly limited to lighter vehicles such as SUVs and personal-use pickups. Pirelli markets them under the Scorpion name, which includes the Ice Zero 2, Winter and Winter 2. We were able to test a few versions during Pirelli's presentation last winter at the ICAR circuit in Mirabel.

Toyo
The Toyo catalog mainly features the Observe GSi6 LT models and the popular Open Country, including the WLT, A/T III (certified) and Celsius II versions.

For more robust uses, especially in off-road conditions, the Japanese manufacturer offers the M655.
Yokohama
Japanese manufacturer Yokohama mainly offers the Geolandar range. This includes the popular A/T G015 version and the very recent A/T XD G017 (both certified) for more rugged trucks, as well as the AG53 model for SUVs.

Kumho
Korean tire maker Kumho offers its Wintercraft products for SUVs and the Portran CW51 for delivery vans.
More affordable truck tires
Finally, in the more affordable tire segment, GiTi Radial offers the Adventurer AT-AW (manufactured in several countries, including the U.S.). Other interesting options in this category include the Falken Rubitrek AT4 Wildpeak (certified), Nitto Grappler and Nexen Roadian HTX2.

Of course, many consumers will prioritize their budget over technology or brand allegiance. For them, we can suggest brands like Hercules' Avalanche (made by Cooper), Sailun's Rovelo, WestLake Z-401 and Maxxis Victra SUV.
