Duval had tested a Proton Satria Neo Super 2000 in Wales recently.
Although his presence at the Monte Carlo event had not been confirmed, he was expected to participate to the event.
Team Boss Chris Mellors was happy with the tests. "From our point of view, one of the most encouraging things is that we put the equivalent of a world championship rally distance on the car without have to do any work to it," he said.
