Team directors have now confirmed that Briton Justin Wilson will return to Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team for the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series.
Wilson, who finished 11th in the 2010 point standings, returns to the Dreyer & Reinbold after earning runner-up finishes at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach and securing pole position at the Honda Indy Toronto.
Wilson’s success in IndyCar racing includes two back-to-back runner-up finishes in the 2006-2007 Champ Car World Series, along with four wins and six poles.
The former Minardi and Jaguar F1 driver scored an IZOD IndyCar Series victory in his debut season when he won at the Raceway at Belle Isle for Newman/Haas Racing before moving with Dale Coyne Racing giving the team its first win.
