After seeing 7-Eleven quit Andretti Autosports and Tony Kanaan, now its Ryan Hunter-Reay’s turn to see his own sponsor announce that it would not be back in 2011.

IndyCar series’ title sponsor IZOD will not be the primary backer of Hunter-Reay's car next year. IZOD provided funding for the first seven rounds initially, and associate partners were found to ensure that the American could complete the full season.

The team is now looking for two major sponsors for both Hunter-Reay and Tony Kanaan but the Brazilian has been informed that he is free to move elsewhere.

Andretti Autosport’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer John Lopes said the team is determined to keep hold of Hunter-Reay and is actively chasing new sponsors.

"We notified our sponsor family late last week that Ryan's primary sponsorship was open for 2011 and 2012, and we have already received one offer," Lopes said.

Hunter-Reay ended Andretti's victory drought by winning in Long Beach in April, and went on to rank seventh in the final standings, just behind Kanaan.
