Nissan Canada is offering two more models of its popular Xterra sport-utility vehicle for 2001.
So the Xterra, which won this year's prestigious North American Truck of the Year Award from a jury of independent Canadian and American auto journalists, will have less expensive and more expensive models.
The entry-level XE will list for $28,498 and it will come with a V6 and air conditioning as its major equipment items.
The upscale SE will list for $32,998 and will get a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, alloy wheels and automatic transmission as standard equipment.
The carryover XE version introduced last year retains its original price of $29,498.
Once again, the really inexpensive Xterras that are sold in the U.S. the ones with two-wheel-drive and/or 4-cylinder engines, are not available in Canada.
