Last spring at the New York Auto Show, Honda released pictures of its all-new HR-V compact crossover, with the promise of a North American launch later in the year. You can now circle November 19th on your calendar, and prepare to see the first units in Honda showrooms this winter.
As the Japanese manufacturer's new entry-level utility vehicle, the 2015 Honda HR-V is based on the same platform as the Fit hatchback and slots below the popular CR-V in terms of size and pricing.
With the new HR-V, Honda plans to rival such models as the Nissan JUKE, Chevrolet Trax, and Mitsubishi RVR.
Just like in the Fit, look for the Honda-exclusive Magic Seat, which allows for multiple seating configurations and the ability to fold the second-row seat completely flat for added cargo space.
