1964 Volkswagen Beetle

Nostalgia was in the air at the Volkswagen stand, as the 2019 year marks the end of an era with the venerable Beetle making its exit. Like with the Porsche 911, the evolution of the model has been spectacular, particularly in recent years. The original Beetle, remember, was produced right up until the start of the 2000s in Mexico for the South American market.

Given that more than 21 million units of the model have been produced over the years, seeing a Beetle is not exactly a rare occurrence. What makes an example of a model like this stand out is more the level of quality and condition, as well as the mix of colours and equipment. This edition, with its black paint finish, white-wall tires, red interior and luggage rack, is stunning to look at and brings back vivid memories for those old enough to have seen ones like these roaming around our streets and highways.
