2019 Toyota Camry TRD
At Toyota, the TRD letters signify Toyota Racing Development, the brand’s performance division. We’ve gotten used to seeing that division produce special versions of sporty models, but it’s new to see them go to work on more everyday sedans like the Camry. And there it was at the Toyota stand. Visually, it’s quite the stunner, and we can’t wait to try it.

In reality, this new variant represents the final exclamation mark on a shift that’s been in the making for a while in regards to the Camry. Traditionally a car destined to comfort-loving older motorists, the new Camry, and this version in particular, clearly targets a younger demographic.
