After rumours started floating around in the spring of 2015, and a concept was introduced last fall, Mercedes-Benz is finally about to reveal the production version of its brand new X-Class pickup truck. The launch is scheduled for July 18.
A video posted yesterday gives a preview of the vehicle. From what we can see, it promises to be a real force of nature!
As previously reported, the market release of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup in Europe will begin in late 2017 through a production agreement with the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Australia and South Africa will follow, and then Latin American countries like Argentina and Brazil in 2018.
Barring a major surprise, Canadians won’t have the opportunity to buy an X-Class. Too bad because the pickup truck segment keeps expanding with more luxurious models and the timing for this one couldn’t be better.
