Nearly 5,000 RVR crossovers will be recalled to fix a problem with the CVT, Mitsubishi Canada announced.
In some cases, the clamp(s) on the continuously variable transmission fluid hoses may not have been properly closed during the assembly process. If operated under this condition, a hose may disconnect from the transmission fitting, which could lead to a transmission fluid leak.
Mitsubishi dealers will therefore inspect and close any open transmission fluid hose clamps.
