Montréal, November 1, 2002 -- The 35th Montréal International Auto Show will be held between November 22 and December 1, 2002 at Montréal's new Palais des Congrès - a revamped facility featuring 375,000 square feet of floor space spread out on three levels. This year's edition of the Auto Show makes it the largest indoor public exposition in the province of Quebec. More than 650 vehicles - ranging from the most prestigious to the most compact - will be showcased by major car manufacturers, who will feature 41 brand names.

A "completely redesigned" Auto Show

"We're changing things this year," said Auto Show President, André Dorais. "We're changing dates and venue. Both regulars and newcomers to the Auto Show will be enchanted by the magnitude of the exposition. Visitors will be thrilled to see how the Auto Show has once again gathered all the major players in the auto industry. All the products and all the brand names will be on display, allowing visitors to see them, touch them and even sit at the wheel, if they wish."

"Visitors will get a real eyeful from the Show's activities and special attractions on a host of topical subjects - all of which will be displayed on three levels," said Dorais. "No one will leave the show empty-handed because we will offer a Highway CD-ROM to each visitor at the end of their visit, until supplies last. Highway is a multimedia tool on Québec's Highway Code - an original concept developed by Robert-François Demers of Propulsion Multimedia. This software allows you to test your road safety knowledge with simulated situations, questions and tests."
