The James Bond Vanquish presented by Aston Martin
Visitors will get the chance to feast their eyes on James Bond's latest four-wheeled toy, featured in the latest 007 flick, "Die Another Day", which will hit the screens throughout North America during the Auto Show. The toy is none other than the Aston Martin Vanquish. The Vanquish shown at the Auto Show is identical to the original used in the film, but without all the imaginable gadgets. From chases, spills to death-defying acts, this vehicle captures the imagination and thrill of the reputed British spy. And the Auto Show's got it!
Annual blood drive
As is the case every year, a blood drive will be held during the Auto Show in collaboration with Héma-Québec. This year's blood drive will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on November 25, 26 & 27 at the Guy-Favreau Complexe, on level 00. As a gesture of appreciation, each person who donates blood will receive a free admission ticket to the Auto Show. Blood drive spokesman Bertrand Godin and Auto Show President André Dorais will be on hand to greet donors.
Contests
Visitors to the show will be able enter a contest for the chance to win one of 16 prizes, including the top draw - a 2003 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe.
Until November 17, 2002, Internet users who visit the Auto Show Web site will have a chance to win weekly one of five pairs of tickets to this year's Auto Show, simply by registering to the "Friend of the Auto Show" e-mailing list.
