Team Fiat Yamaha MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo will have to have his left foot plastered following his crash on the opening lap at the United States Grand Prix held last weekend in Laguna Seca.

Further exams have shown that the extent of his injuries to his left foot is more serious then what was initially diagnosed.

The Spaniard will have to be completely immobilized for 10 days before he can begin is recovery process in time for the next race at Brno on August 17th.
