This NASCAR Camping World Truck race was to be held last Saturday but Mother Nature let its rain pour on the Martinsville Speedway all day so NASCAR had to postpone the Kroger 250 Monday afternoon.
The spectators who were able to attend the event were well served. Once again, as Kyle Busch (Tundra No 51) was heading for a win, a very aggressive Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 2) wrestled his way by him with only 10 laps to go to grab the checkered flag.
Busch was penalized later on for passing the commitment line trying to hit the wall in order to straighten out a bashed in fender. Though he had led a total of 139 laps, he was credited with the 17th place.
Ron Hornaday (Chevy No 33), driving a Kevin Harvick car, came in second followed by Mike Skinner (Tundra No 5), Johnny Benson (Tundra No 1) and pole sitter Rick Crawford (Ford No 14).
Busch still leads the championship but, running a partial schedule, will not compete in the next Camping World race on April 25 at Kansas Speedway.
