NASCAR and Atlanta Motor Speedway officials announced that the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race has been postponed because of weather from Tropical Storm Lee. The race will be rescheduled for Tuesday, September 6 with a start time of 11:00 AM.
This is the second Sprint Cup race that has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Watkins Glen race was also postponed due to weather.
