Only two days after the Canadian Grand Prix, Stock-Car Montreal invited a handful of local journalists and sponsors to try the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve prior to the NAPA 200 Nationwide race that will be held there on August 1 and 2.
To do so, the Petty Experience group was chosen to drive journalists around in real NASCAR stock cars equipped with a passenger seat. Each guest was treated to a three-lap experience.
Also, journalists were able to meet Canadian NASCAR ace, Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10) who happened to be in Montreal after his race at Pocono.
