Seeing as the IVX-II is built off the Legacy, there's a very high chance that the technologies featured in the concept
will filter down into future production vehicles. Accident avoidance technologies are generally exclusive to high-end luxury vehicles, but its introduction in the midsize Legacy could give Subaru a marketplace advantage.
Also at its booth, Subaru will be showing the R1e fuel cell/electric vehicle, next year's Impreza WRC rally car, the Blitzen performance version of the Legacy Wagon, and the North American market B9 Tribeca - a vehicle that it is considering for the global market. Interestingly, the new 2006 Subaru R2, a domestic-market microcar has also received a mild facelift which removed the controversial 'Zapatinas' nose.
