Like the Honda CR-V, the RAV4 from Toyota is difficult to criticize because it does just about everything well, from exterior and interior design to its behaviour on the road. The price tag is slightly less than competitive, but in return its resale value is unmatched, and the peace of mind that comes with driving a Toyota is priceless, just about. Any discussion of the RAV4 must include mention of the hybrid, which according to our journalist Benjamin Hunting merits close consideration. Hats off to Toyota for offering up its hybrid technologies in this market segment.
