Jeep Grand Cherokee
The latest version of Jeep’s popular SUV may no longer be top sales dog at Jeep now that the Wagoneer has returned, but there’s still plenty to like about the Grand Cherokee. The exterior styling gets touches of the classic – the 7-slat grille, for example – and the contemporary with narrow headlight lenses and a wide array of wheel choices.
Speaking of “wide arrays”: there are many Grand Cherokees to choose from with all manner of powertrains and interior accoutrements. If luxury is what you’re after the Overland and Summit models are right up your alley, while those seeking a little more efficiency will appreciate the 4xe plug-in hybrid model with the ability to drive under full EV power.

All Grand Cherokees get Uconnect infotainment and the large vertical display as well as drum-tight interior panels and top-drawer surface materials.
Kia Telluride

Not many changes for the big Kia for 2025, but it remains a great choice in the segment thanks to its interior space, powertrain and value.
Power comes from a single engine choice: a 3.3L V6 good for 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque and of course AWD comes as standard in Canada, which isn’t the case in the U.S.
There are five available trims, ranging from the entry-level EX all the way up to the more rugged X-Pro as Kia jumps on the light off-roading bandwagon with 18-inch wheels shod in chunkier all-terrain tires, raised ground clearance and 5,500-lb towing capacity (up from 5,000 lb for the other variants).
