Canadian consumers have grown increasingly fond of Korean models in recent years, and so we find the Sorento holding down the fifth spot in the midsize SUV segment. We like this Kia more than our American neighbours, in fact, as south of our border, it sits in 12th place. In terms of sales figures, Kia moved 16,054 units here and 96,531 in the U.S.
As we’ve reported, a new generation of the Sorento is about to arrive for next year, and that could well help Kia boost its position in the segment - on both side of the border.
