When General Motors launched its range of mid-size pickup trucks in 2015, it revived a segment that had lost much of its shine. Today, the Colorado and the Canyon are offered in a few different versions, powered either by a 2.5L 4-cylinder, a 3.6L V6 or a small 2.8L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel. The latter engine is actually quite a beast as it can pull up to 7,700 lbs, while the gasoline-fed 4-cylinder can only muster 3,500 lbs (although that does make that version the most powerful in its class), and the V6 7,000 lbs.
