8. Nissan Frontier
In addition to the large Titan, Japanese manufacturer Nissan offers consumers a mid-size pickup that is just as useful but less cumbersome to operate. The Frontier, which is not changed much over the past several years, comes in many different rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive versions. Under the hood, owners benefit from a 2.5L 4-cylinder (except for the four-door Crew Cab version) or else a 4.0L V6 with a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. Dependin on the model chosen, the 4-cylinder-powered version can pull up to 3,750 lbs, while the V6 allows for upping this to 6,700 lbs. If the mid-size pickup segment continues to grow as it has recently, expect Nissan to present a renewed version of the Frontier in the coming months!
