10 – Fiat 500X
If we’re ending with the Fiat 500X, it isn’t to tell you to put down your phone or tablet, or get off of your computer, to race to the dealership to get one. Quite the contrary, actually; but in any case, consumers in Canada seem to have realized that all on their own. Since the start of 2019, only 27 brave souls have signed on the dotted line to acquire a 500X.
We recently headed to New York to test drive the new engine Fiat has provided for the model, a 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo. This powertrain seems better suited to the vehicle, but whether it will prove more reliable than recent Fiat products remains to be seen. Meanwhile, the price point of the 500X is just too high.
