10 – Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
The Blazer that we’ve traced through time up to now prolonged its career until 1999. In that case the Blazer was a full-size model. But as the 1980s came around, a Blazer model was added to the new family of compact pickups Chevrolet had just introduced, the S-10. That model debuted in 1982, and the Blazer variant joined the fray as of the following year. It was shorter by 15.3 inches and thinner by 14.8 inches than the full-size Blazer. Sales-wise, the results were spectacular: 106,214 consumers snapped one up. The older, bigger Blazer, meanwhile, attracted 31,282 buyers.
