An ode to all the Blazers we’ve loved before...

2 – 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

The Blazer was built on the chassis of the C-10 pickup and shared many of that model’s contours. In 1970, a 4x2 version was offered for the first time, though fewer than 1,000 units of that version were produced. The 4x4 versions outsold them by a factor of 10, with total sales amounting to 11,527 units.

In 1971, a new front grille introduced, and sales jumped to 17,220 units. Also jumping was the price, which rose to $3,358.
