Don't hold your breath too long waiting for the second version of the Tesla Roadster. The car, designed with the highest performance potential in the brand’s history, was supposed to shake up the exotic niche in 2020, but with the pandemic and Tesla's reputation for delivering its new models late more often than not, the American group's sports car is now expected in 2022, probably as a 2023 model.

We'll have to wait and see, but what's certain is that many, many eyes around the world will be on the Roadster when it hits the market to see if it can take on the best sporty electric cars on the planet.
