GMC has two all-electric Hummer models about to launch, Cadillac will have an all-electric lineup within a few years and Chevrolet is even getting an Silverado EV. To appeal to a slightly less affluent clientele, GMC is also working on a Sierra EV, which should be heavily inspired by its Chevy counterpart while incorporating a few exclusive elements.

And it may very well be that the model year of this very first GMC Sierra EV will be 2025, as GM needs to increase its production rate of electric vehicles in the coming years if it wants to reach its ambitious goals.
