2026 Honda Prelude
After a prolonged hiatus stretching into the decades, Honda’s two-door mid-size is set to make a triumphant return in 2026 as a hybrid sports coupe. It’s set to pull up the slack left by the departure of the two-door versions of the Civic and Accord. It may also take the fight to the competition, namely the Mazda MX-5 and Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ twins.
Considering the Prelude will be a hybrid and likely employ the powertrain shared with the hybrid models of the CR-V and Accord, expect 200-plus horsepower and around 250 lb-ft of torque.
When is the 2026 Honda Prelude coming?
The new Prelude is not expected before the second half of 2025.
