The name may sound a little strange unless you’re Dr. Evil, but we’re fairly certain the rest of the package is no joking matter. Looks-wise, it’s impossible to miss the bright orange paint, aerodynamic wheels that look like a modern take on the drag-reducing and brake cooling rims on touring cars of old and a front splitter that wouldn’t look out of place on a proper performance crossover. The rear wing helps also.

While we don’t know official power figures at this point, considering the GV60’s Ioniq 5 N cousin makes upwards of 640 hp, we expect nothing less from the GV60.

When is the Genesis GV60 Magma coming?

Genesis has not confirmed a specific timeline for its new line of Magma models, other than to say the GV60 will the first to come. Expect it to appear on the market in 2025.

While an all-electric version of the classic Jeep Wrangler is still a few years away, the Recon is about to alight in our market. With styling that’s some parts Wrangler and some parts Ford Bronco Sport, the Recon represents the spot on the grid where classic Jeep and modern EV styling meet.

Underneath the futuristic takes on the Jeep 7-slat grille and square taillamps is Stellantis’ new STLA Large EV platform that also underpins the recently revealed Jeep Wagoneer S. Expect ranges in the ballpark of 500 km.

When is the Jeep Recon coming?

Jeep will launch the Recon commercially in 2025. Don't ask us to be more specific, Jeep isn't saying.
