The smallest of Mazda's crossovers is also a regular on our annual Top 10 list of affordable AWD models. Now, the fact that its big brother the CX-30 is also found here, and is available for not even $500 more, leads us to recommend that you take a look at the larger SUV. Not only because it's more modern, but also for its volume and driving pleasure, both of which are superior.
But if you prefer the CX-3's smaller dimensions, the little city car is still a model of agility great for scooting around town – and not getting stuck in the snow!
