The retirement of the little CX-3 helps the CX-30 make it into our top 10 this year. Note that at this price it’s not the bigger engine you get under the hood. The GX works with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine.
What’s really kind of surprising is that it does better in our little ranking than the Mazda3 GS AWD sedan, which finishes in 12th place in 2023 with a price of $28,200 + $1,910 (fees).
