6 – Compact sedans: Mazda3 and Subaru Impreza

The compact class is still popular with buyers, at least those who remain in the sedan sphere. In the past, there was only one option in this segment when it came to all-wheel drive, and that was Subaru.
The Impreza is still a top choice because of the quality of its all-wheel-drive system, but as of last year, buyers can opt for a Mazda3, a car already beloved by many Canadian motorists and thus needing no introduction. And frankly, it offers a driving experience superior to what you’ll get in the Subaru. Your choice.
