3 - Toyota Sienna

It might not be flavour of the month, but there’s actually been a lot of news in the minivan segment in the last couple of years. Three models have been renewed, including the Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Carnival and… Toyota’s Sienna. Buyers have had, dare I say it, actual choice in the category.
The Sienna, while it did deliver excellent fuel economy (around 7.0L/100 km) due to its hybrid configuration, did leave me somewhat cold, mind you. I frankly expected better than what I got, especially since the renewal of other Toyota models has been more interesting in recent years. The Sienna is still a great value and its all-wheel drive is an undeniable asset, but it’s not quite up to the level of its competitors, in my book.
