Nissan chose the Toronto show to unveil the brand-new LEAF NISMO RC, making its car-show debut. Designed by NISMO, this 322-hp NISMO-designed electric race car is equipped with a state-of-the-art battery and all-wheel drive. Nissan also announced at a press conference that the LEAF NISMO RC will be seen on Canadian race tracks this year, as it will be one of the official pace cars for the Nissan Micra Cup series, now entering its fifth year.
Nissan only built six of this very special LEAF and Nissan Canada has one of them. Here are some dates on which you can see this LEAF on the track as the pace car in the Micra Cup series:
• Canadian Tire Motorsport Park: May 17-19
• Circuit de Trois-Rivières: August 9-11
• Canadian Tire Motorsport Park: August 23-25
