5— Mercedes Benz EQC

Mercedes-Benz has promised it will have ready a fleet of 10 fully electric vehicles by 2022. After the company’s electric SUV got an initial presentation at the Paris Motor Show in 2018, Toronto hosted the Canadian premiere of the EQC, the first 100% electric model to sail under the Mercedes-Benz banner. It will go to market in Canada in early 2020.

The EQC’s 80 kWh engine offers 402 hp, acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes it about 5 seconds and the range will exceed 400 km. Another notable point is that the EQC looks like a regular SUV first and not like an EV first.
