Genesis Mint Concept
Without a doubt the prettiest concept that graced the floor of the 2019 edition of the New York Auto Show, the Genesis Mint is making its Canadian debut at the Montreal show this week. The Genesis Mint concept’s name doesn’t actually come from its mint green exterior colour, but expresses the exclamation the design team made after the design study was completed, "Mint!" – as in, clean and faultless. The name stuck.
It's exactly the kind of concept we like, because the manufacturer went to the trouble of making something new and creative, even sublime, even though it will never see an assembly line - which is increasingly rare these days.
In addition to the electric motor, you get a lot of little oddities like a recessed door knob, an engine charging port at the back of the car, rear throttle doors and a car-like interior. Don’t miss this utterly charming urban vehicle at the Montreal auto show this week!
