2021 Kia Seltos
While we're on the subject of Korean automakers, here’s Kia's brand-new Seltos, a compact SUV that slots into the brand’s lineup between the smaller Soul and the larger Sportage. Built on the basis of a Hyundai Kona, the Seltos offers a different look from that small SUV and a little more room for luggage.
Kia is offering the choice of two 4-cylinder engines (the same ones found in the Kona). The base engine is a naturally-aspirated 2.0L, while the SX luxury version gets a 1.6L turbo making 192 hp - a little less than the Kona. No electric versions (Kia already has the Niro EV and Soul EV, remember), but the Seltos has meticulous finishing and pricing that range reasonably from $22,995 to $32,595 depending on the model.
The 2021 Seltos arrives in dealerships in March.
