Genesis Mint
The Mint designation has nothing to do with its green colour. Rather, it refers to the reaction of a group of young Genesis employees when they laid eyes on the concept vehicle for the first time (the expression translating as something elegant and clean); the name stuck.
This concept represents several things. To begin with, it’s new proof that a vehicle doesn’t have to be big to be elegant. This Mint is very small.

It’s also all-electric and houses some great ideas in its technologies and functions. For example the front seat moves sideways to provide more space for the driver to enter, and access to the luggage compartment is via a butterfly-wing door behind the driver.
It's impossible to know if this model will ever make it to production, but Genesis USA President Kevin Smith has suggested that a car company car no longer afford to concoct a concept for the mere pleasure of doing so. We’re doing a mental triage of which features of the Mint would be feasible in a production car.
