Bugatti’s La voiture noire
If you think that $2.6 million is not outrageous, then here’s one at $16.1 million to test your limits. That’s what it costs to procure what is right now the most expensive production car in the world. This exceptional Bugatti sport car based on the Chiron is a tribute to the most famous Bugatti of all, the 57 SC Atlantic.
Cristiano Ronaldo bought the only example of this car made entirely of carbon fiber, though it moonlights a little, making a few rare appearances at some of the world's most famous car shows and events.
The 8.0L W16 engine with four turbochargers is the same as the Chiron's, and it produces 1,500 hp and 1,600 lb-ft of torque and is capable of going from a stop to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. If you find a long-enough stretch of empty road and, especially, one without potholes, you can go close to 420 km/h.
