Meanwhile, the Prius will now be built on American soil,more precisely in Blue Springs, Mississippi. The plant is currently underconstruction and should be operational in 2010. With this new facility, theworld's number one automaker will be able to increase the availability of itsfamous hybrid.
In other news, Toyota confirmed that production of theHighlander SUV will be moved to Princeton, Indiana, instead of Mississippi.
