The up! family is welcoming a few new microcar into the fold, starting with the swiss up!. The versatile little machine is named in honour of the famous army knife and the host of the Geneva Motor Show.
With its red cloak, white mirrors and dash and contrasting red trim, the swiss up! is a nod to Switzerland’s unmistakable flag. What better way to pay tribute to a country?
The winter up!, based on the cross up! unveiled in Frankfurt last year, is designed to make the most of the cold season. The raised ride height and undercarriage protection add a little toughness to the mix, and a light architecture combined with a front-wheel drive make for an agile munchkin on slippery roads.
Like the swiss up!, the x up! was also built on the cross up! platform and is perfect for nighttime excursions with a roof box equipped with searchlights.
Finally, the cargo up! is designed for in-town deliveries, offering an impressive 1,400 litres of cargo space. The city’s potholes will be no match for its raised chassis and undercarriage protection.
