Kia Carnival
The handsome Carnival minivan returns unchanged for 2024 in five trims: LX, LX+, EX, EX+ and SX, all powered by a 3.5L V6 making 290 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels.

THE EVs
Kia EV6
While there’s no real material changes for Kia’s electric grand tourer-slash-crossover, it has had a nomenclature change in that it now adopts Kia’s new EV trim structure that started with the release of the EV9. The top spec high-performance (think 576 hp and 545 lb-ft) EV6 GT model remains, but below that we now find the Wind RWD (225 hp, 258 lb-ft) and the Land AWD (320 hp, 446 lb-ft). The Wind is the king when it comes to range, making up to 499 km while the GT sits at 351 km and the Land, 454 km.

Kia EV9
The bold EV9 three-row SUV is all new for 2024, boasting futuristic styling (featuring a “digital grille” with colour-changing LEDs and three advanced wheel designs measuring 19-21 inches), three rows of seating as standard and a tech-laden interior. That includes a dash made up of no fewer than three displays, not to mention the heads-up display as well as the optional digital rear-view mirror.
Other neat interior highlights include sustainable material usage, fold-flat seats with extending ottoman-style leg support, USB ports on all three rows and heated/ventilated first and second row seating.
Five trims are available: Light RWD, Wind RWD, Land AWD, Land with Premium package and Land GT-Line. Power ranges from 201-379 hp and 258-516 lb-ft. The Wind RWD is good for 489 km of range, which is the most in the lineup. As far as the AWD models go, the Land is the sweet spot, making 451 km of range.
